Born in 1930, in Kearney, Nebraska, Jack spent most of his life in Southern California, married in 1951 for sixty-three years. He has three daughters and a son and many grand and great-grandchildren. His second wife, a world traveler without children, shares his home in Sun City West, Arizona. At age ninety-two, the author remains active, writes a few letters to editors, and completed the second book in 2022 that began as a short magazine article about his father.
